Argon

Used in the production, processing and fabrication of a range of metals, Argon is one of the most common welding gases and is ideal for light to medium fabricators and home enthusiasts.

Ar

Inert to all materials at all temperatures and pressures, argon allows easy formation of a welding arc without reacting with the metal being welded. Now available in E and D size from selected stores.

Ideal uses:

  • TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and low alloy steel
  • Welding of metal plate, tubing, sheet metal, furniture and automotive
  • MIG and TIG welding of aluminium
  • MIG and TIG welding of copper and alloys up to 3mm
